The interior of this place looks really cool, kinda dark, and trendy. A large bar is at the back wall (didn't really go that close) but it looked like a whole wall of draft beers. Seating is completely ad hoc, so be prepared for some table wars. At The Hay Merchant, you’ll not only find a ridiculous selection of well-chosen beers, they’ll taste better than they do anywhere else.
This place is like no other in the Houston area. Even though the beer can get a little pricy, it's well worth a visit because they'll have beers that you won't be able to find anywhere else. This place is bigger than most bars and the area and has much more seating. It's very simple. Beer: they have lots of it. If you like it, go here. If you don't, take your shoes elsewhere. |
