Cecil's is seriously one of the favorite bars in all of Houston. It's really laid back, the bartenders and clientle are nice. The deck is always lovely to sit on and drink. The pool tables are a little tricky. The drinks are reliably cheap. A good, solid bar with cheap drinks and a fantastic jukebox. The crowd can get a little stuffy sometimes - but not a big deal if you're there with friends. Great on weekend nights when the guy making tacos is outside grilling!
They have a full bar with anything from your Lone Star to Raspberry Long Island Iced Teas. They always have a few Saint Arnold's beers on tap which is always good to see. The crowd is a mixed bag for sure. With close proximity to the Montrose crowd and the midtowners, it can be a great place for people watching! |
